Jonathan Miller is an award-winning British / Irish foreign correspondent, broadcaster, film-maker and writer with specialist interest in Asia. I’ve covered conflicts, humanitarian crises and natural disasters across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and Europe, winning awards for my reporting of wars in Lebanon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sri Lanka and Syria and a nomination for my coverage of Myanmar’s Rohingya exodus. From 2015-21, I was assigned to Bangkok as Foreign Affairs Correspondent for Channel 4 News (ITN). I am the author of Duterte Harry, a biography of former Philippine president, Rodrigo Duterte, (Scribe, Melbourne, London, NY, 2018). In 2021, I resumed my career as a freelance journalist and film-maker, working globally but currently based in Sydney, Australia.
